As a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach and former Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the NHS, I recognized a significant gap in traditional healthcare approaches within the UK system. This and taking retirement prompted my transition to becoming a certified health and wellness coach, driven by a deep passion to prevent non-communicable long-term illness, while ptimising the health of individuals who are living with chronic conditions, and promoting overall well-being.

My coaching approach focuses on the holistic nature of wellness, addressing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects. Through personalised consultations, I create tailored plans to help the individual achieve their health goals.

I am dedicated to empowering clients by providing them with knowledge, tools, and unwavering support to achieve lasting lifestyle changes. Together, we set up sustainable habits that lead to thriving beyond limits.

Drawing on experience, complimentary, evidence-based, practicle skills and knowledge from my health professional background, I ensure clients have confidence to bridge the gap between knowledge and action.

What Motivates Me

My core mission is still to guide clients towards healthier, happier lives, embracing continual growth as they identify it and making a positive impact on those I have the privilege to serve.

Our Journey: In March 2023, with my dual qualification and driven by a mission to challenge the growing dependence on medication for chronic conditions such as Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and insulin resistance, I founded Sonia Jenkins- Registered Health Coach.

Our philosophy centres on championing lifestyle changes that address the underlying causes of these conditions, thereby reducing the necessity for medication and focusing on holistic health rather than merely treating symptoms.

With 45 years service in the National Health Service of the UK, I am very experienced in the issues that many individuals are dealing with. Reduced availability of appointment to consult with health professionals and confliction health and wellness advice. Most advice is "high level" assuming that individuals already understand the basics. However, I find that this to be untrue. So whether you have the tools and and no idea or just require a little advice. I am hear and see you!
